Global Citizens Initiative (GCI) is hosting a social impact competition open to all high school students in Fairfield County for the chance to win a grant and be honored at the Greenwich International Film Festival.
1. Create a video message of up to three minutes demonstrating how you would plan to make a positive social change in a low-or moderate-income community in your local area (i.e. education, youth empowerment, community development, etc.).
2. Submit your video by April 6th to FilmFreeway, including your name, grade, school, and contact information. If the video is selected as a finalist, a waiver will be sent to the entrant to be signed and submitted.
3. The winner will receive a $4,000 grant. The runner-up will receive a $1,000 grant. Finalists will be notified by April 30th and will be invited to attend an award ceremony held during the Festival on Saturday, June 2nd.
