Greenwich International Film Festival celebrated its 10 Year Anniversary at the Changemaker Gala on November 13th by honoring Golden Globe and Emmy-winning comedian Jerry Seinfeld and Jessica Seinfeld, executive producer of DAUGHTERS, founder of the Good+ Foundation, and bestselling author. The star-studded event featured a VIP Cocktail Reception at Lugano Diamonds, during which GIFF patrons were treated to cocktails, hors d’oeuvres and a Meet&Greet with Jerry & Jessica Seinfeld.
The Awards Dinner took place later that evening at L’Escale. Actor, Comedian, Director, & Writer Amy Schumer brought down the house with a special tribute to the Seinfelds. Comedian Jim Gaffigan joined her onstage to present the Changemaker Awards and a special gift from Bridgewater Chocolates to Jerry & Jessica, after which, Jim hosted a conversation with the dynamic duo. Jessica spoke about her work with the GOOD+ Foundation, her documentary DAUGHTERS and how the film has inspired her to support programs like the Children’s Museum of Manhattan Family Connections Program. Jerry spoke about his career achievements. The event also included a musical performance by MOJO and a video and speech about the charity partner for the evening: the Children’s Museum of Manhattan Family Connections Program, which reunites parents incarcerated on Rikers Island and their children for an afternoon of play and learning at the museum to strengthen parent-child bonds, reduce the trauma of separation on the child, and reduce recidivism.
DJ April Larken hosted an after-party in the lounge with dancing and drinks from Via Carota Craft Cocktails.
